What would you do?

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation tools, a good understanding of QA processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams and US-based stakeholders. This role focuses on building and executing automated tests, reducing manual testing efforts, and contributing to overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Skills and qualifications (mandatory):

Automation Development & Execution

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems
• Execute automated test cases and analyze test results
• Convert manual test cases into automation to improve regression coverage
• Assist in identifying areas suitable for automation

Framework Contribution

• Work within existing automation frameworks and contribute to improvements
• Follow established coding standards and QA best practices
• Ensure test scripts are maintainable and reusable

CI/CD & Testing Support

• Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket)
• Run automated tests as part of build and release cycles

Skills and qualifications (preferred):

• 5–7 years of experience in QA with exposure to automation
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
• Basic to good programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with API testing (Postman or similar tools)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems
• Understanding of QA concepts, test design, and defect lifecycle
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with AI agents or AI-driven testing tools to improve QA efficiency is a plus
