About the role:
This is an opportunity to join BRANDTECH+'s new in-house studio embedded with our client, as a UX/Digital Designer creating tier 2 and tier 3 digital experiences
Design user experiences and digital interfaces that engage Dow Jones' sophisticated audiences across subscriber acquisition, retention, and advertising touchpoints. You’ll create digital experiences that maintain editorial credibility while driving measurable engagement across web and mobile platforms. Your UX expertise will help establish digital design standards that scale with the studio's growing production demands.
You'll be the digital experience architect behind user interfaces that translate Dow Jones' premium journalism into compelling subscriber and advertiser touchpoints across web and mobile platforms. Working at the intersection of user experience design and marketing effectiveness, you'll create digital experiences that engage business professionals and investors while respecting editorial standards. We're looking for someone who can balance user-centered design with conversion optimization, developing digital assets that drive measurable results while maintaining the credibility expected by sophisticated audiences. Success means creating digital experiences that strengthen subscriber relationships while supporting business growth.
What You'll be Doing:
- Design tier 2 and tier 3 digital experiences across web, mobile apps, and marketing landing pages
- Create user interfaces that align with Dow Jones' editorial voice and premium brand positioning
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that optimize subscriber acquisition and retention journeys
- Design marketing landing pages and digital touchpoints that convert sophisticated business audiences
- Collaborate with developers and creative teams to ensure seamless implementation of digital experiences
- Create design systems and UI components that enable consistent, efficient digital asset production
- Conduct user research and usability testing to optimize digital experiences for business professionals
- Design responsive experiences that perform effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms
- Support A/B testing initiatives by creating design variations that test conversion optimization hypotheses
- Leverage AI tools to pre-flight test designs and ensure that we maximize conversion from day one
Qualifications & Skills:
- A portfolio demonstrating UX/digital design excellence in web and mobile experiences, preferably for premium or financial services brands
- Digital design skills that create compelling user experiences while maintaining editorial credibility and professional standards
- Proven ability to design conversion-focused experiences that balance user needs with business objectives
- Experience designing for subscription-based platforms, financial services, or sophisticated B2B audiences
- Collaboration skills that work effectively with developers, copywriters, and creative directors
- A talent for translating complex business requirements into intuitive, accessible digital experiences
- The ability to work remotely while maintaining strong partnerships with development and creative teams
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, and other UX/UI design tools relevant to digital marketing
- 4-6 years of UX/digital design experience with proven success in marketing communications or publishing
