The NVIDIA Interconnect Design Team in Roskilde, Denmark is hiring for the position of Interconnect Design Engineer. The focus of the position will be on high power external laser source (ELS) modules for deployment in co-packaged optics (CPO) systems - the next Frontier in optical interconnect technology. This is a highly technical position, requiring a strong sense of ownership, laboratory experience and a product-oriented mindset.What you'll be doing:The ELS subsystems have very high thermal load and optical output power, which require careful electrical, optical and mechanical design and implementation to succeed. In addition to designing our own ELS products Nvidia also sources ELSs from external vendors. This position includes the technical management of these partners:Participate in the development of the internal productsCommunicate specifications to external vendorsDay-to-day technical ownership for Nvidia of the product implementation at the external vendors, including communication, change management, review of test results, lab testing, trouble shooting and debuggingDrive projects from concept to mass production.Presentation of progress and gaps to managementWhat we need to see:M.
