This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment while building scalable systems and workflows. You are equally comfortable developing polished brand films and product UI animations as you are producing high-energy, platform-native social content. You have a deep understanding of how content performs across platforms and how to capture audience attention quickly. You combine elevated motion design with strong editorial instincts and systems thinking. In addition to producing world-class work, you will mentor junior creatives, help define motion design standards, and ensure a consistent balance between speed and brand quality. You Will: Concept, edit, and animate high-impact motion assets for marketing campaigns, product trailers, and brand storytelling. Own the concepting, design, and animation of social-first video content and brand-level motion assets across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and more.  Evolve the motion design identity for the brand, ensuring consistency across marketing, social, and product surfaces while allowing for platform-native flexibility. Architect motion toolkits, graphic templates, and frameworks that enable the team to produce high-volume, high-quality content at speed. Collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, and Marketing Leads to translate campaign goals into compelling, motion-driven narratives. Provide direct feedback and mentorship to junior designers, helping them level up their technical execution, storytelling, and editorial instincts. Identify emerging platform trends and cultural moments, translating them into creative opportunities that keep the brand at the forefront of the conversation. Refine the creative process to support high-volume production, ensuring every deliverable meets platform specs and a high standard of craft. You Have: 8+ years of professional experience in motion design and video editing, specifically focused on social-first and commercial content. You have a world-class portfolio demonstrating excellence in short-form storytelling, advanced motion graphics, and a deep understanding of vertical/mobile-first formats. Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. You have a strong working knowledge of Figma and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud. You have a strong understanding for timing, pacing, and hierarchy. You are an expert in motion design and typography, knowing exactly how to use them to drive engagement. You are a strong communicator who can lead creative discussions, advocate for motion-first strategies, and grow the talent around you. You move fast and stay agile. You are comfortable in a high-volume environment and know when to push creative boundaries versus when to optimize for speed.          For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
