Role Overview
We are looking for a strong and experienced Frontend React Consultant with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frontend development practices, and API integration.
The consultant will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to develop high-quality frontend solutions and deliver features within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
- Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
- Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional frontend applications.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Manage application state using appropriate state-management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or similar technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend development standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests where required.
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and preferably TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern UI development.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with state management frameworks such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of Git and version-control practices.
- Experience with frontend build tools and package managers such as npm, Yarn, Vite, or Webpack.
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Strong understanding of browser compatibility, performance optimization, and frontend security best practices.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as a consultant while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
