HE2 - Front-end Developer Senior React/Shopify/Hydrogen

We are seeking a Frontend Developer with strong hands‑on experience in Shopify and Hydrogen to build and maintain modern headless e‑commerce storefronts. This role focuses exclusively on frontend development, performance optimization, and delivering high‑quality user experiences in React-based environments.

The ideal candidate is a pragmatic problem‑solver who can work independently, communicate clearly, and deliver high‑impact UI solutions.

📌 Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Build and maintain custom Shopify Hydrogen storefronts using React
• Develop responsive, accessible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern React frameworks
• Optimize frontend performance, usability, and maintainability
• Support migrations from legacy storefronts to modern headless architectures
• Debug and optimize data flows between Hydrogen apps and backend APIs
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver cohesive product experiences

Technical Problem Solving

• Translate business requirements into effective frontend solutions
• Evaluate complexity and propose implementation approaches
• Communicate technical constraints and tradeoffs to stakeholders
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery

📌 Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with Shopify and headless commerce (Hydrogen required)
• Strong proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

• Experience migrating legacy e‑commerce platforms to headless architectures
• Experience with large product catalogs and frontend performance optimization
• Familiarity with search platforms (e.g., Algolia)
• Experience with headless CMS platforms
