The posting, in its own words

Project Overview:
You will play a pivotal role in the CRM System Modernization project for the Executive Office of the Governor (EOG) / Office of the Chief Inspector General (OCIG). This project involves converting a decade-old legacy Microsoft Dynamics CRM system to a modernized Microsoft Power Platform architecture to improve performance, enhance security, and automate workflows.

Note: This role needs someone with prior experience working for Govt projects, eligible for security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workflow Refactoring: Replace and refactor legacy Microsoft Dynamics workflows into modern Power Automate and Power Apps solutions.

  • UI/UX & Technical Enhancements: Modernize case management tabs (e.g., updating "Case Details" and adding a "Subject of Complaint" tab), enable manual record assignment, and fix existing system quirks (e.g., timeline rearrangement issues, file import errors).

  • System Integrations: Architect and build automated, highly secure data import pipelines to ingest submissions from the agency's public website and designated email inboxes.

  • Data Security: Ensure all integrations and data transmissions utilize encrypted channels and adhere to strict zero-trust security frameworks.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience with both pro-code and low-code Microsoft Power Platform development.

  • Strong programming proficiency in C# / .NET and JavaScript.

  • Deep knowledge of integration protocols and formats, including REST APIs and JSON/XML.

  • Expertise in building and managing Power Automate workflows, Custom Connectors, and Azure Functions/Logic Apps.

  • Familiarity with secure, encrypted data transmission standards (TLS 1.3 / AES-256).

Required Certifications:

  • Must hold an active Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) OR Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification.
