This role sits at the intersection of design craft and business development, translating IP, tone, and brand voice into decks and materials that win business and represent our studio at the highest level.Key Responsibilities:Own the visual strategy for high-stakes pitches, deciding what needs art, data, motion, or narrative to land the storyDesign and refine company capability decks, case study materials, and client-facing presentations true to each IP's visual languageAdapt quickly across wildly different aesthetics, from stylized casual to gritty triple-A, sometimes within the same weekBuild reusable systems: templates, component libraries, and motion frameworks that scale design quality across multiple concurrent pitchesInterpret ambiguous creative direction from leadership and business development with minimal back-and-forthPresent work directly to internal stakeholders and, when needed, clientsMentor junior and mid-level designers on both craft and professional judgmentGive final-eyes feedback on decks before they go out the doorRequirements5+ years of design experience, ideally with exposure to the games industry, entertainment, or a fast-paced agency environmentExpert-level proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides)A portfolio demonstrating range across visual styles, not just one polished lookStrong understanding of pitch narrative structure: hook, world, proof, askExperience building scalable design systems and templates for repeated useA track record of taking initiative rather than waiting for a briefComfort pushing back constructively on creative direction that won't land, and making the case clearlyGenuine enthusiasm for unfamiliar IPs and new creative challengesNice to HaveExperience working in outsourcing, co-development, or work-for-hire studio environmentsFamiliarity with live-service, mobile, or casual game genresMotion design or animation experience for pitch materialsBenefitsThis a full-time salaried position with standard industry benefits in Canada.
