From autonomous vehicles and industrial robotics to smart healthcare devices, AMD AECG is redefining intelligent edge computing. This role supports AMD’s embedded AI software strategy for x86 APUs, spanning ROCm and Ryzen AI Software.THE PERSON:AMD’s AECG group is looking for an Embedded AI/ML Software Technical Marketing Engineer who can drive end-to-end software enablement for AMD embedded AI platforms. This role centers on planning, cross-functional alignment, and integrating ROCm and Ryzen AI Software components into cohesive, production-ready solutions for embedded markets.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer-Facing Content for Reference ApplicationsTranslate internal reference designs for AMD Embedded APUs into customer-ready technical training and reference designsArticulate system-level value propositions language that sales and partners can confidently use with Embedded AI customersDevelop “what to say to customers” guidance, including embedded system deployment, architectural tradeoffs, and design best practicesSales and Field EnablementPartner closely with sales, FAEs, and solutions engineers to ensure consistent, accurate, and compelling messaging for AMD embedded AI software solutionsCreate and maintain enablement assets such as pitch decks, whitepapers, FAQs, competitive positioning, and architectural overviewsSupport strategic customer and partner engagements by providing deep technical context and architectural guidance when neededTechnical TrainingDesign and deliver high-impact technical training for internal audiences (sales and FAEs) covering AMD embedded AI software solutions, including ROCm and Ryzen AI SoftwareDeliver external technical training for ODMs and end customers, tailoring content for varying levels of technical depthBuild modular, reusable training content (slides, diagrams, labs, recordings) that can be scaled globallyCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with technical sales, application teams, product management, and engineering teams to stay aligned with current and future reference designs, software roadmaps, and platform direction for AMD embedded AI solutionsProvide structured feedback from the field to influence future reference architectures, documentation, and software stacksEnsure technical accuracy, consistency, and quality across all published customer-facing materialsPREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Strong understanding of embedded APU AI software stacks, including ROCm and Ryzen AI Software, across Linux and Windows environmentsHands-on experience implementing AI/ML and high-performance compute workloads on heterogeneous compute platformsExperience with embedded systems, AI software integration, and heterogeneous compute platforms is highly desirableConfidence in presenting complex technical material to technical sales and customersStrong cross-functional communication and dependency management skills with attention to detailExperience in software integration, program planning, or technical project coordinationACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
