About the Role
We are looking for a Game Category Operations Executive to own and grow an assigned game category on our overseas game trading platform. You will drive end-to-end category operations — from trend monitoring and merchandising to campaigns and promotions — and collaborate cross-functionally to grow category transaction volume (GMV).
Key Responsibilities
- Own overall operations for an assigned game category: develop and execute operation plans covering game trend/hotspot monitoring, merchandising, campaign and promotion follow-through; coordinate with upstream and downstream partners to grow category transaction volume.
- Take ownership of category transaction performance; identify growth opportunities through conversion funnel analysis and market insights.
- Research games and their trading markets; propose operational strategies and product improvement directions.
- Continuously monitor and analyse operational data of live game categories to identify issues and improve the user experience.
- Develop a deep understanding of players' day-to-day gaming scenarios, resolve real user pain points, and uncover opportunities for trading or top-up/recharge services within these scenarios.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in overseas game operations, with in-depth knowledge of at least one game genre (SLG, card games, or RPG) or pan-entertainment products, and a good grasp of industry trends.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret operational metrics and translate them into actionable insights and optimisation plans.
- Solid understanding of gamer communities — able to quickly identify where player groups gather, source relevant information, and apply it to drive business growth.
- Innovative and self-driven, with strong learning ability, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Good to Have
- Proficiency in additional foreign languages.
- Overseas study or work experience.
