Job Description

Role: Senior test analyst, SAP Hybris (eCommerce Cloud)
Location: Remote (South Africa-based only)
Engagement: Independent Contractor | 6 Month Contract
Start: Immediate start required

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to help make sure our eCommerce platform works properly and gives customers a smooth online shopping experience. This person will focus on testing key parts of the website and app, finding issues early, and working closely with the wider delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test the SAP Hybris eCommerce platform to make sure it works as expected
  • Check important customer journeys such as browsing products, basket, checkout, payments, promotions and orders
  • Create and run clear test cases and record results in Azure DevOps
  • Log, track and help investigate bugs and issues
  • Work with developers, business analysts and product owners to understand what needs to be tested
  • Support good testing standards and help improve the overall quality process

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a Test Analyst in eCommerce environments
  • Good hands-on experience testing SAP Hybris platforms
  • Understanding of online retail customer journeys and how eCommerce websites work
  • Experience with web and mobile app testing
  • Good working knowledge of Azure DevOps for test cases and defect tracking
  • Ability to test APIs and check data is accurate
  • Strong communication skills and a careful eye for detail
  • Comfortable working in Agile teams
  • Experience in retail or customer-facing digital platforms would be ideal, but not a deal breaker
  • Relevant testing qualification or certification
