Makpar has an exciting opportunity for a Monitoring Platform Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our growing team. In this role, you will implement monitoring use cases under senior direction and support data onboarding, alert configuration, and incident workflow alignment.

Role Specific Duties/ Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement monitoring use cases under senior direction.
  • Support data onboarding, alert configuration, incident workflow alignment, and documentation updates.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and operational support activities.
  • Assist in the configuration and tuning of dashboards, alerts, and monitoring rules under senior guidance.
  • Collaborate with team members to validate monitoring coverage across supported systems.
  • Escalate and track unresolved issues through appropriate ITSM channels.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience supporting monitoring or infrastructure management solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise monitoring or observability tools (e.g., Splunk, DataDog, AppDynamics, or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn platform-specific tools and processes.
  • Effective written communication skills for documentation and status reporting.

Additional Qualifications as per contract/client (Optional or Preferred):

  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring platforms and incident management workflows.
