NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Senior Firmware Engineer to join our NIC Firmware Core team, with a special emphasis on simulation for network adaptors and verification infrastructure. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to advancing the tools and frameworks that are used to develop the cutting-edge networking adapter technologies. Your role will be to drive the success of NVIDIA's current and upcoming networking devices by working across various platforms, including C++ object-oriented simulation, verification frameworks and C layer interfacing hardware and firmware.What You’ll Be Doing:Take part in implementing and assimilating frameworks for Design and Verification both for real-time and simulator environmentsAddressing and solving automation and performance challengesCollaborate with chip design, software, and architecture teams to define and craft legacy and new firmware flowsWhat we need to see:B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering5+ years of proven experience with verification and testing methodologiesGood understanding of the Linux operating system and computer structureSolid knowledge in C++ and Object-Oriented ProgrammingStrong multi-disciplinary capabilities and ability to work with wide entities – chip design, verification, FW, SW, and architectureAbility to lead feature development and take full ownership of tasks from A to ZOutstanding teammate, strong interpersonal skills, and self-learning abilityWays to stand out from the crowd:Background in Embedded C programmingKnowledge in networking protocols and scripting languagesStrong interests towards groundbreaking technologies and ability to take initiatives and drive them across multiple functional teamsNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
